Festive Holiday Makeup

I wore this out to my partners work Christmas dinner, & wanted something a bit festive but not using the typical Christmas-y colours. I also knew I didn't want to wear red lips because I wore them out to dinner a few nights before & it faded & just looked awful, and I'd rather not worry about it!
My skin looks photoshopped, but please believe me that it's not!

Yes that is a feather extension poking out, I actually have 5 in my hair but because it's so thick they are always hiding.

There's a spot on my cheek where my bronzer skips over it, which is so annoying!!

 Products
Face: Australis Paparazzi Perfect Foundation in Nude
Nude by Nature Eye Definer
MAC Lightscapade
MAC Warm Soul

Eyes: Sugarpill Goldiluxe - Lid
MUG Galaxy- right on outside of gold.
MAC Contrast- outer lid. I had to use Nyx's Slide on pencil eyeliner in Sunrise Blue right in the outer V for that hint of bright blue to stand out.
MUG Burlesque- crease
MUG Sensuous- inner crease
MUG Shimma Shimma- highlight
Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner
BYS Lashes- once again they are really cheap quality so you can still see the lash band even with covering it with eyeliner :(

Lips: I had worn off Ulta3 Harem Pink but I added Revlon Lip Butter in Creamsicle over the top for a creamy pink.

I hope everyone has a merry & safe Christmas! xx

Day To Night// Graphic Gold & Black // Ft Katy Perry lashes

I started out with this makeup during the day.... it isn't essentially a day time look but it was day enough for me :P We were in the city for Stereosonic (best day!!) but this was the day before were we got to go out to lunch & shopping with friends and we got to see our niece for the first time in ages! Sorry for the pic heavy post.
Day Makeup

I did my eyes at home but finished with my foundation in the car, I was trying out a sample of the Garnier BB Cream, but as I put it on I realized it was a medium colour & a bit too dark & orange looking for me, but I blended & blended & added everything else and the colour didn't turn out too bad in the end. Unfortunately I couldn't open the packet properly and some splattered onto my strap :@ so I tried to rub it off but got lipstick on it too and made it even worse!!! *DOH* I took out my hair and kinda twisted the strap to hide it. So annoying!

~Products~
Face: Garnier BB Cream in Medium (I actually liked it though, and the darker colour will be nice for summer, too, and I didn't need concealer except for undereyes!)
Nude by Nature Eye Definer- Contour
Christian Dior Far A Joues Pudre #849 Contour
MAC Lightscapade MSF
Australis Fresh & Flawless powder
Bourjois blush 34 Rose D'or
Eyes: Stila Kitten (inner lid) Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette: Half Baked (lid) Naked & Buck (crease) Creep (outer v into crease) Virgin (highlight)
Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner, NP Set Liquid eyeliner (to intensify the black)
Lips: Milani Rosehip (although the pink doesn't look as bright here...)

Night
After this busy, exhausting day I didn't feel like completely starting my makeup over again but I wanted to dramat-ify it for a big night out (the random nights are the best!) I also *had* to use my Oh My! Katy Perry lashes by Eyelure.

Mini Lash Review

These seriously are the thickest lashes ever. They are double banded so they feel really sturdy. I had to cut mine down to shape just a tiny bit, & as they were quite stiff they weren't the easiest to put on but I'm sure they will be easier to apply next time. They are probably a bit too overwhelming for my eyes, especially when they are open, but that wont stop me from wearing them again. I also didn't need to curl my lashes into them as I curled them beforehand & already had a heap of mascara on.
With my "mustached friend" hehe.

Also if you're wondering I got my top from www.allyfashion.com.au instore a couple of weeks ago, it is a lemon coloured peplum style top with a peak-a-boo back. Although I changed it for going out since it was stained! I wore it with black shorts during the day but I would have paired it with a black bandage skirt for night.

Thank you so much for looking! Take care xx

Smokey Glitter; Subtle or Dramatic?

These are from 2 different weekends but I wanted to do a glittery cut crease & a subtle glitter clubbing look. I used the same Sleek Palette- my go to, dramatic-smokey-eye look Bad Girl in both looks with Glitter by Nyx. These are definitely way too OTT for during the day but perfect for an eye-catching night look.

Silver Glitter & Blue Dramatic Cut-Crease

Bad lighting in this look, my skin looks terrible :/. I think having the flu that week would have something to do with it, too. But I just remembered, the Fiancee has a horrible bluish tinged light, yuck!

Products
Face : (In both) Australis Paparazzi Perfect Foundation
MAC Peachykeen
Lips: Covergirl lip perfection l/s in Kiss
Eyes: Firstly I applied The Face Shop Dual Eye Colour in 'Silver' to the eyelid, and cut into the crease with Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Black Bean' and also on the lower lash line & waterline. On the lid I applied the lightest grey 'Blade' from my Sleek Bad Girl. Over Black Bean I placed 'Abyss' from Bad Girl & blended with 'Obnoxious' (both blues, the darkest first) coming as far into the inner corner as I liked. I also applied some 'Noir' right into the crease for further definition. I applied these in the same order on the lower lash line. Also highlight with 'Innocence' (shimmery white)
Now again on the lid I applied Nyx Candy Glitter Liner in Disco Ball all over, setting with the Nyx glitter in silver (loose glitter pigment).
I applied my eyeliner - Maybelline Master Precise & slightly winged it up, mascara & falsies & I'm done.

Smokey Purple, Subtle Glitter
'Goofy Smile Alert!!!'

Face: Foundation as above, Blush: MAC Dollymix
Contouring: Coastal scents 15 concealer (dark shades) ,Nude by Nature Eye Definition loose powder.
Lips: (new fave combo!) Nyx Harmonica & Australis Boogie Woogie. (Harmonica is too frosty on it's own so these L/S are a perfect pair!)

Eyes: After primer apply Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Slate' to the eyelid. Blend up slightly into crease. Apply 'Gun Metal' from Sleek Bad Girl (medium shimmery gray) on top, blending out. Apply 'Twilight' to the crease & blend out with 'Rebel' (both purples again from Bad Girl), do the same on the lower lash line & blend with a skin-toned coloured eyeshadow. Take Nyx Candy Glitter Liner in 'Disco Queen' on top of Gun Metal and then to set apply Fyrinnae loose eyeshadow in Immortal. {{As the shades on the lid are verry similar you will only catch a glimpse of the glitter which can make your eyes look more sparkly when they hit the lights at a flattering angle.}}
Apply your fave black eyeliner to the waterline & lash line, add mascara & falsies to complete the look.

Love this look on Makeupgeek if you would like :)
"Iz smiling coz you got this far :D"
I hope this was useful & that you enjoyed reading this post. Let me know if you like the way I explained how I did it or if it's too complicated w/o step-by-step's. That way I can just list the products on their own.

Thanks for looking <3 <3
How do you like to wear glitter?

Masquerade Makeup: Drama if you dare.

A few weekends ago we went to a masquerade ball. Of course I wanted to do big, dramatic makeup for it lol. It was a really good night... when they started playing good music lol. The dress code was meant to be strict but there were quite a few people in short club dresses and people without masks... which is not what a masquerade ball is about! lol. Anyway, apart from that, it was reallly hot in the ball area and because my mask was tucked into my hair it was hard to take it off without my eyes smudging lol.

 Before changing:

 Products:
Australis Paparazzi Perfect fdtn
Coastal scents concealer palette
Nars Orgasm
Nude by Nature Eye Definer- contour
Nyx Chrome White E/S- Highlighter

TFSI
Nyx JEP Black Bean- Cut into crease, outer lid, lower lash line. Cut
Nyx JEP Cottage Cheese- Inner lid, highlighting.
1. Stila Kitten- Inner Lid
Sleek Bad Girl- 2. Gun Metal 3.Underground 4. Noir
5. Blade 6. Innocence
Glitter: MKA Glitter.
 BYS lashes- Starlette

 Lips
Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brule & Nyx Sugarpie L/G

To get the sharp line in the crease firstly I made a rough line with Black Bean and a small eyeliner brush and then I went over it with Noir & an angled eyeliner brush for further definition. I really like how it turned out :)

A few things I'd like to point out:
Eyelashes: One went on weirdly so I had to pull it off and put it back on, removing some of the eyeliner. I  fixed it after the pics.
Also the eyes aren't completely even, but I didn't want to ruin the whole thing to fix that lol. And I wasn't too keen on the lip colour for some reason IDK why... but I didn't reapply anyway lol.

In my dress  (Don't have any full length pics yet!)
Looking creepy in my mask ahah.

Thanks so much for looking, hope you like! xx

Balayage hair + glitzy club makeup!

I'm so sorry guys, I'm apologizing for the lack of posts again! Soo I got my hair done a couple of weeks back.. mainly coz my stupid roots were showing through haha.. I swear my hair grows too fast! This time she did more balayage through all of it, instead of just a few front sections like before. The only thing I will change next time is to probably just do the base colour through the top sections only to break up the lighter ends. It looks good curled, but there's kinda like a line between the colour when it's straight.
Aandd- I hate bleach, my ends feel yucky now & they tangle so easily! My hair is so much more static when I brush it too lol :(

Apologizing for the phone pics!

Lipstick is vivaglam nicki in case you're wondering.

This is the making I wore for clubbing in the city. Mostly phone pics again sorry!
That's better, camera pix :)

Face: Australis Paparazzi Perfect fdtn
MAC dollymix blush
All About Glo Bronzer

Eyes:
Nyx JEP in Black Bean, drawn into crease using small brush, winging out slightly, also on lower lashline.
Noir- Sleek Bad Girl, blended over line, using underground & gunmetal to blend out black. Cut back into the crease with Noir & a sharp-lined brush. Use these on the lower lash line too. I think I also used Urban Decay Tease to blend.
Stila Kitten on the lid
Pixie Epoxy over Kitten, and then the MK&A glitter from my recent haul over the top. I wish I had MAC reflex gold [I think] to compare it too.
Urban Decay Bootycall to highlight
Maybelline Line Allure for the eyeliner.
BYS gel eyeliner.
BYS eyelashes in Starlette

Lips: Inglot #253. I applied it horribly in the car, sorry!

Thoughts on the eyelashes:
These are the ones I also bought in my haul. I really like the whispy-ness & the diamontes on them for added bling, but they were still hard to work with. The band wasn't as flimsy as one I've tried before, but as the glue was drying I couldn't roll it into shape because it went almost straight when I put them on. Also I don't like how you can see the lash band, but it's only noticeable up close.

So, I really should give cut creases a break for a while, but since I've found out that I can actually do them it's a lot of fun to do for a night out!!
I hope you enjoyed this post.

FOTN using my MAC products from my haul

So of course after purchasing my new products I had to use as many as I could at the same time :P Which was perfect because I bought 1 eye, 1 cheek & 1 lip product from MAC, and I couldn't have cared less if it was complementary or not LOL.
Obviously this is not tonight's FOTN, it's from last week :)

So we went to Adelaide for the weekend, and after a walk in the city and a quick shopping trip we made a booze run and went back to the apartment for some drinks to catch up with a friend we hadn't seen in a few years. And then we went for a night on the town.

~Products~
Face: Australis Paparazzi Perfect Foundation
15 concealer palette
Models Prefer undereye concealer
Cheeks: MAC Dollymix Blush (Hard to see in the pics but I did apply a bit, just didn't want to go overboard IRL)
Highlighter: Models Prefer Illuminator
Contour: Nude by Nature Eye Definer

Eyes:
Nyx Black Bean JEP (creased quite quickly, must have applied a smidge too much, also in waterline)
MAC Contrast E/S (applied with a flat brush on lid, blended out with 217, also on lower lashline)
Sleek Bad Girl: Grays, Black, Blue to darken (LMK if you'd like to know specific names) Also white & skin tone colour for highlighting.
BYS lashes in Gliterazzi

Lips: Viva Glam Nicki L/S

My hair was also a rush 15 minute job  with a 1 1/2 inch curling wand but it didn't turn out too bad!
please ignore that eyelash, makes my eye look wonky up close ahaha.
Just enjoying a drink from our balcony from the 18th floor of our apartments with the city life behind me. HA you can kinda see the lipstick marks all over my glass but look at my lips! Still a heap of lipstick on them (I didn't need to reapply for the good part of the night)

Thanks so much for looking.
I'd also like to point out that I'm on instagram, and I've got a sad amount of followers so add me on missashii_x and I'll follow you back!
